Smithville United Church

With, joy and gratitude Rev. Andrew Macpherson wants to welcome everyone to Smithville United Church. Andrew can be found at the Icon Fitness in the morning and meditating on the Word of God. Andrew will add a sense of humour to his Sunday messages and be at the congregation’s side when pastoral care is required. Andrew enjoys an engaging Faith study program, and how our community of faith can in a pluralistic society upholding the teachings of Jesus with a wide range of religious and secular belief. Andrew also loves music and
food and we will be blending these in intercultural programming with:

Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos, Indian Christmas and Smithville UC’s monthly world music service Sunday at 4 pm) Come find out what happens when a saxophone
speaks with a tabla. Andrew’s goal is to leave people with hope that humanity can find unity in our incredible diversity.
Andrew graduated from Emmanuel College, University of Toronto in the M.Div., MPS in Muslim Studies Program, and Buddhist Studies Mindful Meditation program (or trinity Program:) He enjoys sporting events and loves to
weave in his travels experiences into the life of his community of faith.
